‘Layers,’ Peter Lehman, Adelaide, Australia
A terrific white meritage that hits on all levels, blending Pinot Gris, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Chardonnay. Cold fermented in stainless steel tanks. Possessing a golden color with floral aromas as well as lemon-lime and peach. Crisp, vibrant flavors of peach, citrus, banana, marshmallows, and honeydew. Incredibly balanced and very smooth.

A wonderful bouquet of peach, apricot, orange blossom and jasmine, with floral hints that can only bring smiles. Tropical fruit, guava and melon aromas, crisp and bold sweet citrus backed by refreshing acidity and minerality characteristic of South Africa’s coastal vineyards. Extravagant with a pale clear hue and the honeyed smell so typical of Viognier. Extremely pleasant on the nose. A burst of fruit accompanies the sweetness and initial apricots give way to something closer to pineapple. The palate shows richness and complexity, with orange zest, apricot, guava, and peach flavors following through. Full, rich and explosively fruity on the finish.

Beautiful pale gold. Its aroma blends butter, hints of vanilla, and tropical fruits. A fruity, peachy, and intense wine, which is fermented half the time in American oak barrels and half in stainless steel, providing perfect balance with the fruit. Fresh, fruity, with good body and balance. Creamy and complex in mid palate, with a long, elegant finish.

Fresh, lively, clean and vibrant. Notes of pineapple, honeydew melon, green apples, citrus, and a nice light spice on the finish. This is a cheerful, sunny, and pretty wine. A chardonnay for the ages. Rich and vibrant tropical fruit flavors blend with toasty oak notes. Peach, pear and a touch of pineapple integrate with creamy vanilla. Like the sophisticated gentleman bandit of the late 1800s who crisscrossed Northern California robbing stagecoaches, Black Bart serves as the Krupp Brothers' label for its wild-yet-sophisticated wines. Sweet aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, lavender, as well as bacon fat and graphite. Mouth-filling flavors of raspberries, black raspberries, blueberries, vanilla, with a wonderful plum finish and smoky oak. Full-bodied, soft and silky with a hint of dusty tannins.

This very dark ruby colored Cab opens with an interesting cranberry-like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and shows nicely integrated acidity. The flavor profile is a juicy black cherry with notes of blueberry and a little spice. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins linger for some time. Smooth textured, generously ripe and lasting in the finish.
