Method
- Add the milk to the blender first. This helps it blend smoothly.
- Break the frozen acai packet into pieces and add it to the blender.
- Add frozen blueberries and frozen banana.
- Add Greek yogurt and protein powder.
- Add almond butter if using.
- Blend on low for 10 seconds, then blend on high until thick and smooth.
- Stop and scrape the sides if needed.
- Pour into a glass and serve right away.
Notes
- Use unsweetened acai packs. Sweetened ones can make the smoothie too sugary.
- For a thicker texture, use less milk or add more frozen fruit.
- This smoothie is best fresh. If stored, drink within 24 hours and shake well.
- You can skip almond butter if you want a lighter drink.
