Drain and rinse the chickpeas. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
Place chickpeas in a bowl and mash with a fork. Keep some texture.
Add onion, garlic, herbs, chickpea flour, egg, spices, salt, and pepper.
Mix until everything sticks together.
Shape the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches wide.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
Place fritters in a single layer in the basket.
Lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway.
Remove once golden and crisp. Let rest 1 minute before serving.
