Ingredients
Method
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2: Make the Garlic Herb Butter
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, parsley, dill, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Step 3: Prepare the Salmon
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Place them on the lined baking sheet.
Step 4: Add Flavor
- Brush each salmon fillet generously with the garlic herb butter mixture. Place lemon slices on top of each piece.
Step 5: Bake the Salmon
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.
Step 6: Serve
- Remove from oven, let rest for 2 minutes, then serve with fresh lemon wedges and a sprinkle of herbs.
Notes
- Don’t overcook the salmon. It should flake easily and still be moist in the center.
- If using frozen salmon, thaw completely and pat dry before baking.
- Add a drizzle of honey or sprinkle of smoked paprika before baking if you like extra flavor.
- This recipe pairs perfectly with roasted veggies, rice, or mashed potatoes.
