Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon camu camu powder
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 –2 teaspoons honey or agave optional

Method
 

  1. Add the frozen mango, pineapple, and banana to a blender.
  2. Pour in the orange juice and coconut water or almond milk.
  3. Add the camu camu powder.
  4. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and add honey or agave if you want it sweeter.
  6. Blend again for a few seconds.
  7. Pour into a glass and serve right away.

Notes

  • Camu camu is very sour. Stick to one teaspoon at first.
  • Frozen fruit gives the best texture without adding ice.
  • Drink it fresh. Vitamin C breaks down if it sits too long.
  • For a thicker smoothie, use less liquid.
