Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 small banana frozen if possible for creaminess
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds or hemp hearts
  • 1 cup almond milk or your favorite plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey optional
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract optional
  • Ice cubes optional, for thicker smoothie
  • Optional Add-ins:
  • 1 scoop hemp protein powder
  • ½ cup vegan or Greek yogurt
  • Handful of spinach

Method
 

  1. Wash the blueberries and peel the banana. Freeze the banana if you want a thicker smoothie.
  2. Add blueberries, banana, hemp seeds, almond milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract into a blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 30–60 seconds depending on your blender.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or consistency. Add more milk for a thinner smoothie or more frozen banana/ice for thickness.
  5. Pour into a glass and optionally top with extra blueberries or hemp seeds.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can use any plant-based milk you like; coconut or oat milk also works.
  • Frozen blueberries work great if fresh are not available.
  • Adjust sweetness based on your taste. Maple syrup or honey is optional.
  • You can double the recipe for two servings.
  • Blend thoroughly to make hemp seeds completely smooth and creamy.
