Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.
Add ground turkey. Break it apart and let it brown for 2–3 minutes before stirring.
Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until mostly browned.
Add onion and bell peppers. Cook for 4–5 minutes until soft.
Stir in garlic. Cook for 30 seconds.
Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and oregano. Stir well.
Mix in tomato paste and black beans.
Pour in chicken broth. Stir and lower heat slightly.
Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thick and flavorful.
Taste and adjust seasoning. Serve warm with lime and cilantro.
