Ingredients
Method
Step 1 – Warm the milk:
- Pour the milk into a small saucepan and set it on low heat. Let it warm gently without boiling.
Step 2 – Add the spices:
- Whisk in turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper. Keep stirring so everything mixes evenly.
Step 3 – Sweeten and enrich:
- Add honey or maple syrup and stir until dissolved. Add coconut oil or ghee if you’d like it extra creamy.
Step 4 – Blend (optional):
- For a frothy finish, pour the mixture into a blender and blend for 10–15 seconds.
Step 5 – Serve:
- Pour into a mug, top with a light sprinkle of cinnamon, and enjoy warm.
Notes
- Use fresh turmeric and ginger if you can — they give a brighter flavor and more health benefits.
- Always include a small pinch of black pepper; it helps your body absorb turmeric’s nutrients better.
- You can serve it cold as an iced golden milk latte during summer. Just chill it and pour over ice.
- For a vegan version, use almond or oat milk and maple syrup instead of honey.
- This latte is naturally caffeine-free and great before bedtime.
