Ingredients
  

  • 1 banana preferably frozen
  • 1 tablespoon maca powder
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 cup almond milk or any plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon hazelnut butter optional
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • Ice cubes optional
Optional add-ins: chia seeds, flaxseeds, or a handful of spinach

Method
 

  1. Prepare the banana – Peel and break it into chunks. If frozen, it will make the smoothie creamier.
  2. Add ingredients to blender – Banana, maca powder, cacao powder, almond milk, hazelnut butter, and maple syrup.
  3. Blend – Blend until smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a splash more milk.
  4. Taste and adjust – Add more sweetener if needed. Add ice cubes if you like it colder.
  5. Serve – Pour into a glass, add a slice of banana on the rim if you like, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use frozen banana for a thicker smoothie.
  • Adjust maple syrup to taste depending on banana ripeness.
