  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or raisins optional

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking pan (8x8 inch works well) with parchment paper.
  2. Mash Bananas: Peel and mash the bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: Add peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir until creamy and combined.
  4. Add Dry Ingredients: Fold in rolled oats, protein powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Mix gently. If you like, add chocolate chips or raisins.
  5. Transfer to Pan: Pour the mixture into the lined baking pan. Spread evenly with a spatula.
  6. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool and Slice: Let bars cool at least 10 minutes before slicing into 12 bars. Store in an airtight container or freeze for later.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness and soft texture.
  • You can swap peanut butter for almond butter if preferred.
  • For a chocolate twist, fold in 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder along with chocolate chips.
  • These bars are perfect for breakfast on-the-go or as a post-workout snack.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days, or freeze for 2 months.
