Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Prep Edamame: If using frozen edamame, thaw and pat dry. Toss the beans in a bowl with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chili flakes if using.
Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the edamame evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Make sure they aren’t crowded so they roast evenly.
Roast: Bake for 15–20 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through. Keep an eye on them toward the end to prevent garlic from burning.
Add Optional Toppings: Once roasted, sprinkle Parmesan on top or drizzle with soy sauce if desired. Toss gently to coat.
Serve: Serve warm as a snack, appetizer, or side dish.
