Method
- Add the frozen pineapple to your blender.
- Peel the banana and break it into pieces. Add it in.
- Pour in the coconut milk.
- Sprinkle in the spirulina powder.
- Add the grated ginger if using.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust thickness with a little more milk if needed.
- Pour into a glass and drink right away.
Notes
If you’re new to spirulina, don’t add more than the amount listed. A little goes a long way. Frozen pineapple works best for flavor and texture. Drink it fresh—this smoothie tastes best right after blending.
